Now it is time to put it into practice
Yes yes yes. Time to practice. We all have mindset and communication patterns habits that are grounded in judgement. Today we are going to find all the places and ways that we judge, criticise and give advice.
Here are the 3 things that you are on the lookout for today
Judgement
Notice when you are judging. positive or negative. Can you express it as a pure observation rather than a judgement
Criticism
What are you being critical of? Is the feedback that you give your team weighted down by judgement?
Advice giving
Where are you giving advice? Can you come up with ways to move forward that include your team members ideas?
Remember to do the physical cue of brushing it away each time that you notice yourself doing one of these three things.
